Sono Japanese Restaurant
Sono is a great restaurant in the heart of downtown Raleigh. This is a nice place to have a relaxed meal. The service is friendly and fast here. What special they have is sushi! With a combination of salad, and a specialty Surf and turf roll. You can enjoy Creme Brulee cheesecake which is so yummy.
Simple Twist
Simple Twist is a consistently good food hub with a fun menu. The menu caters to a variety of tastes and diets. The unique dishes, service, and atmosphere are always excellent here. Their menu offers a great variety of plates, they carry a very selection of drinks from coffee to cocktails.
Brewery Bhavana
The restaurant has such a nice atmosphere. The ambiance is great and the vibe is very interesting. While you are waiting for your table, you can go to the store and browse and maybe buy something, or you can go to the bar and get a beer. The food is amazing too. It is a cool place to hang out especially on the weekends just make sure you have a reservation.
Fiction Kitchen
The best vegan restaurant in Raleigh. There are a few restaurants that you will always remember once you have gone. Fiction Kitchen is one such place. The menu selection is broad, with a variety of options. Cocktails and specialty drinks are popular here although there is no separate bar area.
State Farmers Market Restaurant
The State Farmers Market Restaurant is always a solid choice for breakfast or lunch, and you can always find something on their varied daily menu. Really good southern country food. Lots of selections here, eggs, omelets, sandwiches, they serve many items, including their highly acclaimed “REAL BISCUITS.” feature in NC “Fresh Cooked” and “Made to Order” Breakfasts served all day.
Vivace
Vivace is a contemporary Italian restaurant featuring a hip indoor, outdoor bar, fantastic patio, and warm dining room adjacent to an open kitchen. The chef prepares fresh local ingredients with Italian techniques while the bar pours a cocktail menu based on homemade Limoncello and an extensive wine list comprised of the finest Italian selections. Delicious food! Great service and prime location!
Clouds Brewing
Located in a pretty revitalized warehouse area, this restaurant has some delightful outdoor seating and a great deal more inside seating. They had an even larger selection of beers by the bottle which included gluten-free beer and a fair number of artisan ciders and wine. Truly something for everyone. Huge selection of burgers with a creative twist. The food is excellent here.
Chuck’s
Great restaurant with an amazing burger menu and the option to make your burger. Nice selection of local beers as well. They are known for their burgers. Every specialty burger has the option of substituting a veggie burger instead. The restaurant is located just one block from the quaint City Market in downtown Raleigh.
Centro
Centro serve Mexican and Latin American cuisine .The place is very cute, welcoming, and friendly. The food has great flavor and heat. The guacamole & salsa both are superb here .Great selection of Tequilas and Mezcal. Cool decoration of the restaurant.
Garland
Garland is an Indian & Asian fusion eatery. Diverse selection of shared plates and entrees are available and many are gluten-free. Trendy destination for Indian and Pan-Asian flavors downtown Raleigh. I will suggest you visit once to check their taste, it’s amazing!
